Natural Gas Hits COTs Timer Stop (Though Not HNU)

Yikes. Natural gas did another nosedive today and has just taken out the stop I described in a blog post earlier this week. (See here.) Due to the mysteries of leveraged ETFs, my HNU Horizons BetaPro position is still holding above the stop level, so I'm still holding on to it.

Interestingly, the Ontario Gov approved the rate hike for the Gas companies to charge at start of July... I wonder if they'll reduce it now after Nat Gas did a massive 30% drop.

Rgds.

Hi Pete,

Good question. Interestingly, U.S. natural gas does have favourable seasonality from the end of July to the end of October, while Alberta natgas has good seasonality from the end of July to the end of December.

Alex
